
Jack Thomas
Senior Project Manager
Jack Thomas serves as Senior Project Manager at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). In this role, Jack is responsible for recruiting new business to Arkansas, encouraging existing business growth within the state, and preparing communities to take advantage of economic development opportunities. Jack has worked with companies such as Drax, Fiocchi, Majestic Steel, Montrose Environmental, Nucor, Pit Boss Grills (Dansons), Remington (Vista Outdoor), Riceland, Sig Sauer, WestRock, Weyerhaeuser, and Vexus Boats.
Jack is a summa cum laude graduate of Harding University, where he was named the Paul R. Carter College of Business Student of the Year in 2018. Thomas is a graduate of Harding’s Graduate School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2019. As a member of the Harding University baseball team, he set Harding's career record for fielding percentage and was named to the Co-SIDA Academic All-District team, earning the status of Academic All-American nominee.
Jack is involved in a variety of community initiatives, volunteering with the Miracle League, Make-a-Wish, Project Zero, and Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas. He is a Lifetime Sportsman through the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, a member of the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation, Arkansas Outdoor Society, and a member of Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE). He and his wife, Hailey, live in Maumelle.
