John Davis

John Davis was appointed to the ARDC in 2018 by Governor Asa Hutchinson. He serves on the Rural Services Block Grant and Arkansas Unpaved Roads Grant Program sub-committees. John is an assistant professor of political science and director of governmental relations at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He completed his B.A. and M.A. in political science at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his Ph.D. in political science at the University of Missouri in Columbia. John is a graduate of the Delta Regional Authority’s Delta Leadership Institute (Class of 2016-2017). An 8th generation Arkansan, he lives in Monticello with his wife, Ember, and son, John Lee.
